Susan Marie Keene Behuniak

Susan Mary Keene Behuniak, 65, a resident of Hopewell Junction, NY, died on May 8, 2018.

Born in Waltham, MA on October 25, 1952, she was the daughter of Marguerite (Bresnahan) Keene of Lawrence, MA and the late Raymond Keene (US Army, Maj., Ret.). Susan was a self-employed web designer at her company, OrganicBabe.com. She enjoyed Reiki and connecting with friends through the internet.

Susan will be remembered for her fierce love of family and friends, her generous spirit of spontaneous gift giving, her homemade oatmeal cookies and poetic endearments. She loved us all to the moon and back and we will miss her tremendously.

Susan is also survived by her husband, George Behuniak of Hopewell Junction, NY; her son Jason (Sarah) Behuniak of Littleton, CO; her granddaughters, Nadia and Keira; her siblings, Hazel Anne (Bill) Kurrasch of Rochester, NY, Janet (Tom) Leete of LaGrangeville, NY, Patricia (George) Carr of Highland, NY, Mary (Ron Bruce) Keene of Salt Point, NY, Cornelia (Joseph) Quinn of Salem, NH, and James Anthony (Lisa) Keene of Seabrook, NH; her sisters-in-law, Lois (Phillip) Ayers of Roanoke, VA, and Marsha (Herbert Johnston) Shirk of Lancaster, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday at 10am followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Patrick’s Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence followed by interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover, MA.
