Ronald J. Aitcheson

Ronald Joseph Aitcheson, 79, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018. He was born on September, 7th 1938 in Jamaica, where he spent most of his youth. Ronald mastered the trade of tailoring and was known as "The Tailor". He immigrated to the United States in his early 30s. He settled in Lawrence, where he raised his family. 

Ronald is survived by his daughters Titania “Kisha” Richard, Alycia “Diggie” Hernández and Tamarah “Tammy” Hernandez; his long term companion Estora "Sisa" Stephens; his Aunt Olga "Aunt G" Aitcheson; his grandsons Juma Anderson, Jamar Anderson, Tyler Aitcheson; his granddaughters Seaniyah "Sky" Fenton, Celenia Aitcheson and Rashida Anderson; his great grand children Denaysia Ross, Jamarie Anderson, Deasia Ross,Modaisa Reavis, Bugatti Anderson, Jasiah  Anderson; and many loving extended family and familys. 

Ronald loved to tend his garden and share his harvest with his neighbors and friends. He was known to watch black and white westerns, action movies, criminal dramas, and Jeopardy. Ronald was a great storyteller, telling anyone who would listen about his adventures as a carefree rebel throughout his life. He was brazen, wise yet silly, and quick to land a hand to his friends in times of need. Ronald was young at heart and lived a long fruitful life in which he was an integral foundation for so many.

Ronald is eternal and will live on in the hearts of every person he has met, helped, and loved.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 3 - 6 PM. At the family’s request, interment will be private.
