Gina Lynette Madonia-Teixeira of Andover, passed away on Saturday February 17, 2018, surrounded by friends and family at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Gina was born on October 17, 1979 in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Michael and Cynthia Madonia. She grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts where she attended Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School preparing herself for further education at Southern New Hampshire University to study accounting. She was most recently employed at TRM Microwave in Bedford, NH. Gina recently celebrated her second wedding anniversary with Milton Teixeira and was looking forward to many years of happiness and wonderful memories.
Gina was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness and made many lifelong friends who will miss her dearly. She was an avid Boston sports fan and loved attending Red Sox games with her brother “Bennie” in the spring and cheering for the Pats in the fall. She enjoyed crafts, movies and camping in the White Mountains. Her favorite activity was spending time with her extensive network of friends and family. Her nieces and nephews knew her as, “The Fun Auntie”. Gina loved her four-legged children, Tini & Rossi, and was a part-time Mom to Bosco and Kona.
Gina was survived by her husband; Milton Teixeira of Andover, MA, parents Michael & Cynthia Madonia of Mililani, HI, brother Mark Madonia & wife Audrey of Salem, NH, brother Christopher Madonia & wife Becky of Kansas City, MO, brother Stephen Madonia & wife Joyce of Castle Rock, CO, sister Eileen McCarter & husband Robin of Methuen, MA, brother Aaron Madonia of Dracut, MA, sister Heidi Cerullo & husband Jay of Haverhill, MA, sister Anderea Leblanc & husband Steven of King George, VA, sister Jamie Cuevas & husband German of Methuen, MA, brother Lukas Madonia & wife Nikka of Atlanta, GA, sister Morgan Madonia & fiancé of Alex of Methuen, MA, brother Benjamin Madonia of Mililani, HI. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
