Mr. James Fred "Jimmy" McLeod, age 57, of Methuen, passed away peacefully while sleeping on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. He was the loving husband of Maureen A. (Mahoney) McLeod of Methuen.

Born in Exeter, NH and raised in Lawrence, Jimmy graduated from Lawrence High School and worked for the City of Lawrence for 25 years, where he was beloved by all his coworkers. He loved playing bass in his band that he was in with his best friends. He was proud of his work and his house, wherever he went, Jimmy bragged about his flowers. Jimmy's favorite pastime was having cookouts with family & friends.

In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Brittany and Tyler both of Methuen; his mother in-law, Jayne Mahoney of Methuen; two sisters, Janice & her husband Tom of Haverhill and Jean; two brothers, Jackie of Lawrence and Jay & his wife Kelly of Deltona, FL; his godson, Jason & his children of Lawrence. He also leaves Megan & her daughter, Leila; Danielle & her husband Will & their children, Ethan, Emry, Emily & Johnallan all of CA, who he considered his children and grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
